About Office, Decoded.
What this is
Office, Decoded is a private dossier service for difficult workplace situations. You describe what’s happening — anonymously, in your own words — and you receive back a structured, confidential document: what is likely going on, why it feels the way it does, what actually matters, and two or three grounded options with steps. It is not a chat reply and not a feed. It is a document, prepared for you, that you can read slowly, save, and act on.
Why it exists
The hardest workplace problems are rarely about the work. They are about power, timing, and what can safely be said to whom — and the people living those problems usually have nowhere neutral to think them through. Friends take sides. Colleagues talk. HR works for the company. We built a quiet room where you can lay the situation out fully, without it ever being attached to your name, and leave with your thinking organized.
What “Off the Record” does
Off the Record is the promise underneath the product. Your case is private by default: encrypted, anonymous to everyone but you, never shared with your employer, and never included in an email. You write in roles, not names — we ask you to, and we check. The point is not secrecy for its own sake. It is that honest thinking needs a door that closes.
What this is not.
Off the Record provides perspective and clarity, not legal, HR, medical, or mental health advice.
